Viinberg’s Law Firm has taken out a mandatory liability insurance for all its lawyers at Lloyd´s Insurance Company S.A. with police number: 310 - 0000051.
Furthermore, Lloyd´s Insurance Company S.A. is guarantor for Viinbergs Law Firms in favour of the Danish Bar and Law Society.
The liability of Viinberg’s Law Firm is, however, limited to a maximum amount of DKK 5,000,000 per assignment equal to the amount covered by the liability insurance.
All information and data received from or about the client will be treated in confidence. Everyone at Viinberg’s Law Firm is obliged to observe an extended duty of confidentiality, and Viinberg’s Law Firm adheres to applicable procedures to ensure the effective protection of all confidential information and data.
Viinberg’s Law Firm are not liable for any consequential loss or other indirect loss, including operating loss, loss of data, profits, goodwill, image, etc.
Viinberg’s Law Firm are not liable for any errors committed by advisers recommended by Viinberg’s Law Firm, nor is Viinberg’s Law Firm liable for any errors committed by subcontractors engaged by Viinberg’s Law Firm without the prior written acceptance by Jeppe Hudtloff Viinberg.
When a matter on which Viinbergs Law has rendered advice is completed and disclosed to the public, Viinbergs Law Firm is entitled to refer to the matter for marketing purposes.
Danish law applies to the interpretation of this cooperation, and the parties agree that disputes arising from or in relation to this cooperation must, to the greatest extent possible, be settled by negotiation.
Any dispute arising from or in relation to the collaboration that cannot be settled by negotiation shall be settled according to Danish law by the court at Viinberg’s law firm's registered office.
Viinbergs Law Firm is subject to and covered by the Danish Bar Association's supervisory and disciplinary system and by the rules on good legal practice, cf. section 126 of the Danish Administration of Justice Act. The rules that specifically apply to the practice of law can be found at www.advokatsamfundet.dk.
If the client is not satisfied with our assistance or fees, we ask the client to contact the partner responsible for the case or the partner responsible for the client relationship.
If there is still a disagreement, a complaint can be filed with the Danish Bar Association, Kronprinsessegade 28, 1306 Copenhagen K – postkasse@advokatnaevnet.dk.
